Daughter's first trout

Went on vacation for the week to Cook Forest & Clear Creek area. I took my daughter to the "kids only" area on Tom's Run for a little fishing. I thought we just would be killing time. This doesn't get stocked after the end of may and it was July so my hopes weren't too high. Needless to say she hooked her first trout ever and was able to get it in all by herself. She is only 3 1/2 years old, so I was a proud daddy. Well we rebaited and cast back out and within an hour of fishing she managed to land 6 rainbows and one brookie. Not too bad for a kid ! Next daddy wanted to do a little "native" fishing, I took a forest road and found myself all alone in the middle of the forest, well except for my daughter who wanted to tag along, I couldn't say no. We found a nice deep hole below a fallen log and put on a waxie for her and boom 1st cast, she got her first native brookie. I was more excited than she was, what a thrill !
I managed to get out in the mornings for a few hours and caught a pile of natives, got one nice 10" male, what a pretty fish. All in alla great week off from work. Guys if you got kids, get them out on the water, its something they will never forget.

That's awesome Jeb.  I can't wait until I'm posting the same type of thing next year.  Honestly, this is what it's all about!

    Jeb,
Congratulations to you and your daughter.  Enjoy the time and take her whenever you can.  Won't be too long before she will be chasing steelheads with you.  My daughter is 33 and she still fishes once in a while.  But only when she knows there are fish.  She doesn't go fishing, so much as catching.

Sounds like you got her hooked. A few more times out like that and she will be for sure. Then you better watch out because she will be out fishing you, but that's alright because that's what it is all about any way. I have a grandson due in a couple of weeks and can't wait to take him out fishing.

Resize pictures to around 600 wide X something high

You need to store the picture in a site like photobucket then use the http// address.

Put the link into the Add image icon-the little mountain in the picture above where you write.
For your picture I found the http// under properties when I right clicked on the photo

You can't just pull it from the photo gallery, you have to store it on another site ?

I did use the pic in your photo gallery without storing it eleswhere.
    1. Click on the thumbnail photo you want to use to enlarge it.
    2. Right click on picture
    3. Go down to "PROPERTIES"
    4. Coppy http// beside location
