EAST SIDE MILE CREEKS CONDITION 12/28/08

Last night at 9:00pm all East Side Mile Creeks were raging very high.
This morning they were looking pretty good. Only made it to 4 mile this morning, it was fishable, so with the exception of 20 mile they rest should be in great shape for fishing Sunday.

    I just walked to the lower hole at 4 mile granted it's not running as hard as yesterday but the color is very brown and the temp just dropped it seems like 20 degree's with a sideways rain. good luck if you go......

    Just drove by 16 and 20 mile there are guys at both trying to fish 16 is pretty brown and 20 IMO is blown out.

    Fished 20 yesterday early afternoon. Believe it or not, found a small area of slack water and managed to hook 8. Only landed 1 though, if they made it to the current you were done for. 

    I don't give a crap if anybody listens to me or not.

    Monday the 29th, Fish on will be the word for today. Yesterday morning was good untill the very heavy downpour which brought the creeks back up. Had a couple of friends fish on 4 mile and the one fellow caught his limit before the other had his line in. The temp in the morning was 68 and dropped to 34 with the front that came through.
     
    The creeks on the east side are all full of fish and the conditions are excellent for today 12/29/08. Looks like the high winds and rain brought in plenty of new fish. At 7 mile they were using glow bugs, at 4 was sparkle red tube jig with a lead head, minnows, crystal meth in chartruse. While the bite was on early yesterday , we all know how it can change from one minute to the next with your choice of bait.
