Always $37 for a license with Erie combo permit. You can print the license out on the PFBC home page if you buy it there. Easy, just did mine last night. Good luck.

Yeah, buy them on line and print a bunch.  That's what I do then I have one for my pontoon, boat, wallet and several back ups.  I posted something like this last year and someone on here said you could also book mark the page also and print again later, not sure about that.

Yep, what they said. Plus you can buy it the first of Dec. and the licence is good for the rest of December and all the next year.

I get to apply for my senior life time license. $67.40 includes a life time combo stamp. Have to apply in person but I'll make copies just in case.

You can save it on your hard drive....My Documents and call it whatever you want. But the following is printed right on the page that you print out...

Note: Your signature on the license attests to your understanding and acceptance of the following:

    1. This license must be displayed on an outer garment while fishing.
    2. Additionally, the licensee must carry a form of identification such as a
        driver's license while fishing.
    3. It is illegal to alter or tamper with information contained on the license.
    4. Photocopying or reproduction of this license is prohibited.
    5. It is a violation for anyone other than the intended person indicated on
the license to use this license.

Replacements for licenses purchased via the Internet can only be replaced via the Internet.

If anyone is free willing enough to Violate Rule No.#4 ! Then they should have no problem with people keeping foul hooked fish, snagging or keeping/possesing more than their daily limits etc.......... !!! No matter how trivial we think some of these rules/regulations are, RULES ARE RULES. Kinda hard to think that it's ok to bend one rule for personal benefits but then it's ok to condem others for their infractions.

They just said they were going to print a couple copies. How is that illegal? How would you be able to tell the first from the last? I did not see anyone say anything about photo copying it.

I'm sure if you had 3 or 4 on you at one time the WCO may give you a hard time, but highly doubt you'll get into trouble from printing a few extras. They only put that to keep people from printing fraudulant ones with other people's name on it.

I can only say that if PA charged only a nominal fee to replace a license that is lost or damaged and did not require a new trout/Erie stamp purchase at full price when making the replacement, I would be more than happy to accept the "rules are rules" mantra.  As it is, if there is a way I can find to avoid such an absurd practice by the PFBC, I will not lose sleep in doing so.

Mack, with the new system, you no longer have to re-purchase the stamps.

    12.
I lost my license, now what?

A lost fishing license is replaced by applying to any issuing agent. The cost is $6.70 for the license, price includes the cost of any trout/salmon or Lake Erie privileges that were purchased with the original license.

It says right on the PFBC site when you have finished buying the licence.."PRINT LICENCE(S)"

If you where only alowwed to print one why would the button on their site say "PRINT LICENCE(S)"

As long as you print a few at the time of purchase it's ok.... I print several like the others said and keep one in my truck and one in each pack I have so I never forget it....

I have the right to remain silent.....I just don't have the ability

I asked an enforcement officer about this last year.  He told me that the important thing is that you have a signed license displayed while fishing.  If you do not he would likely issue a citation. I told him that I printed a million but had no intent of committing fraud with them (lending them out etc).  I was told it was perfectly legal and that this officer would just be happy that my  license was purchased and displayed.

NOW  I will NEVER buy another hunting license on line in PA again.  What a nightmare.  Then I lost it and it got even more crazy!

The fishing licenses are excellent.  I laminate a bunch, at Staples using the heaviest stuff they have, commercial stuff I think, it is cheaper by the sheet.  Then punch a couple of holes in a get a big saftey pin.  This was the best thing that the PFBC has done in recent years as far as I am concerned.

    Brent

PS as suggested, bookmark the print page and save it.  You can also convert to a PDF and then save.  Either way, if you lose one, no troubles!  One on the vest, one for the hat, boat, fishing coat etc.

First off, I would like to let everyone know that none of this was/is a personal attack on anyone. I just thought it was slightly hypocriticaly humurous ! I seriously dont care how many copies of anything anyboby prints or copies. Its not fair to those who purchase a license over the counter though. They cant make copies in case they lose theirs or have  extra ones for all their vehicles. And where it says to print license(s), I think that refers to buying more than one license. I purchased mine and also purchased one each for my 16 yr old twin sons for Christmas. They all printed on the same page. HAPPY HOLIDAYS !
