FROG HAIR SHOOTING LINE?????

Could someone please tell me what Frog Hair shooting line is used for? It looks like mono line but I saw it in the fly fishing section. Any info would greatly thankfull.

    it is also called running line...
    it is used with shooting head line systems
    my running line looks like very thin clear fly line
     
    for a Skagit style i use 15ft tip to a 25 foot skagit head to 100yrds of running line to backing
    the head and tip are out of the rod and the running line is low friction and can allow max distance
     
    I recently got my setup (check my picture post from yesterday)
    so i know a little about it
    google skagit casting and you can get better info
