Posted Water

Does anyone have a map that shows what waters are open to fishing & what waters are posted? Or know where I can get one?

That a great question. Logically a current map should be available.

changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes....nothing remains quite the same

i highly doubt you will find a map

listing all the posted waters with in-turn list all the unposted water...
there is still the illusion of "secret" and unknown water on the tribs

there are some basic maps with some posted properties on the fisherie board under "angler maps".

Most of the stream descriptions point out the posted areas, but they
are not always up to date. They are a good starting point though.

I stumbled acrossed access maps about 5 years ago at the pittsburgh sportsman show.  Picked maps to walnut, elk and conneaut, they are great maps and I use them to this day. The contact info on the maps is Fish Man Guide Services c/o John Bodner  118 Shippen DR CORAOPOLIS PA 15108 phone number is 412-269-1285.  These maps helped me out a ton when I first started and hopefully he is still around to help you out.

Like fisherofmen stated there are maps on the home page side bar (Angler Maps) with parking, however I was at the iron bridge on Elk Park Road and for the first time I noticed no trespassing sighs on both sides if the creek down stream, I never noticed them before anyone know about this????

How far down? I was there a few weeks ago, and didn't see any.

Isn't most of that area the Mercyhurst easement?

I noticed no trespassing at the parking lot and across the creek I saw one, if easement is the case then you can go down stream as long as you stay in the water…I was there last Tuesday Dec 9
