Pics from the past few weeks- near and far

Been doing some pretty solid trib fishing this fall. Caught my first double digit brown from an Erie trib, took my Dad bonefishing in the Bahamas, even caught some bonefish walking the beach with my wife...

Might well be my last fall living in PA for awhile, so it was nice to get out a bit. Here's some pics, it's been a trip, good luck to all...

Glad im here in PA freezing . That looks like a great time, I think it would be a blast to bonefish and go tarpon fishing. Sticking a tarpon on a fly rod to me would be a blast. Good pics

Oh yeah--that's what I'm talking about!

Caught my first bones of South Bimini this summer.  Couldn't believe the size of the schools--could hear them coming from a mile away.  Saw some real pigs, but the biggest I actually landed was only about 6 pounds.  In those big schools of fish, it seemed like the little guys were most agressive.

    Awesome!

Hey, look at the first pic. There is a guy in the water behind you, did he fall in, is he sitting down, or is he just in the water up to his chest?

    Just looks kinda funny....

Nice pics! Last time I was in the Bahamas, I was supposed to go fishing but the whole getting ready for our wedding thing kind of got in the way. Next trip down, I am definitely doing some fishing.

    Hey Dan,

Have you noticed in the first pic, the guy in the background his hooked up and the fish is breaking water?

I just read the other post about the guy being up to chest in water but nobody noticed the fish...lol

well, i mean its probably not as good as what we might think to fish for a living, I mean, you gotta worry about lots of different factors....

Anyone else remember a raffle sometime back in September for a day of steelhead fishing lessons with Formerguide? Did he ever make good on his promise to take someone from this board. We never heard a report, just wondering how it went.
