REALLY TUFF FISHING ON THE EAST SIDE

The fishing conditions on the East Side Mile creeks are gin clear & low water.

If you are traveling a long way then you may want to hold off till we get alot of rain. Even if we do get rain, these creeks come up fast & come down just as fast. It is sprinkling right now but not enough to make any difference.

Some fellows did pretty good this weekend with the very poor conditions. We saw quite a few 10's and most were very fresh.

If you enjoy "fishing" in no water for a Steelhead, the mile creeks are the place.I was there on 20 Wed after the rain and snow and apparently none fell there. How anyone can enjoy that is beyond me,the fish were trapped in the low water and would n't be able to "fight" when hooked where ever they got hooked.I took a short look and left without wetting a line. The area needs serious rain!
