12 DAYS LEFT

We now only have twelve days left to find that big boy.So far this season i hit a descent 8 and missed a giant 8.I saw 10 different bucks from my stands and 26 doe's.Alot of you guys are saying it's getting good i haven't really been seeing much rut activity. We checked cameras today still got that big 11 hanging around and got a big 13 and got a twelve at the old man spot at 11:49 in the morning on halloween day. Also got alot of scrubs hanging around but we walked again today trying to find some hot scrapes or a rubline. We founded 5 bucks rub in many different areas we looked and very few scrape.I know the deer are there but why can't we find no sign?

I also haven't noticed that much rut activity where I'm at.  Last monday when it got nice and cold with that front just coming through I saw 3 bucks 2 of which were shooters on an evening hunt and since then I havent seen any buck movement from the same stand.

In my opinion, this time of year you should hunt the does. If you find the does, you'll find bucks. Most of the bucks in my area are cruising, although a few are chasing.

YEP- that's what I'am doing--- I actually think there is more breeding going on than normal for this time of year. At least in my area we seem to be a bit ahead of normal.

I saw 3 bucks this morning.  One large 6pt, with no brows so hes illegal.  The others were a scrub and a small 8.  The 6 and the small scrub were crusing.  The small 8 came by at 10:15 and just kinda walked around and milled around.  I went spotting sunday night and saw 2 bucks.  One was big the other was a small 8.  The 8 was with a few does and was more worried about food than the does.  The big guy was bedded in a field all by himself.  Not another deer around.  Go away warm weather!!!
