Hope I don't regret this

Saw a couple of bucks chasing does on Thurs and Fri, while I was driving to work. Hunted yesterday morning and evening. Put a scent rag out in the morning. At 8:35 had a legal 5 point come straight in to the scent rag, gave me an easy 5 yard broad side shot. But I passed him up(have a doe in the freezer). Saw a doe at 9:10 about 45 yards. Can't help but think about 7 or 8 years ago I would not have even hesitated shooting that "small racked buck". On the evening hunt I bumped a deer on the way in. At 4:30 a kid on a 4 wheeler(not supposed to be there) decides to tear up my trails(I maintain walking trails). He finally left at 5:30. Only thing I did see was a hen turkey walk by my stand at 20 yards. She was legal but I didn't want to screw up my hunt. Pretty sure the kid pushed her and everything else off the hill. All I can do is shake my head.....

Good going passing up the tyke. A couple people I work with shot spikes last year, and were proud.

I don't hunt myself, but many friends do. None of them would take anything less than a big 8.

When hell freezes over, I'll fish there too.
