Steelhead Advice

Hi everyone! I'm new to steelhead fishing and am planning to fish the Erie tribs. These questions are dumb, but keep in mind I'm a beginner.  What is the best rod to use (length and power/action)? What size reel will accompany this rod best? What line is best to use (pound and color)? What are the best lures and bait to use? Any help is greatly appreciated!

    All the info u need is here on the forums. Spent a few min and look through old post. u will find all the info that u need..........

    What could be better than catching perch...

    I never fly fished in my life before going to the Erie tribs last year, but my buddy got me hooked on it. Get some suckerspawn and white wooly buggers that resemble a minnow and you're set
