That's a neat rack.  Did you know this deer was there?  Which side of the rack did you see first?

I called in a 4 pt yesterday.  First buck I've seen this year out of the tree.  He stood underneath me until it got pitch black, so I ended up scaring him.  The camo predator fall gray, doesn't work well at dark... lots of white in it caused issues I'm guessing.  That buck looked up at me and there's no many he should have with the cover I had.  The snow we got the other night really helped me get a feel for what's going on in the new areas I've been forced to hunt.  The next two weeks should be better than the previous four.  Maybe, yikes.

My reports and advice are for everyone to enjoy, not just the paying customers.

silverkype i seen the deer spotting 3 times and i had a good idea where he was bedding so i hung a stand for him. tuesday night i hunted the stand and found scrapes all around it then it started snowing tuesday night so i just had that feeling that he would come and open those scrapes up in the morning.about 7 55 i started grunting and then out of no where he was running in all balled up and ready to go he stopped at 18 yards and i seen the drop tine side first then he turned his head and i seen the rest of him i drew back and i shoot a back tension release so i had my been burried on him and started pulling and smoked him right in the lungs.
something else i always shoot grimm reaper broadheads like my name says but i shot rage this year i shot a doe early in the year and it hammered it but this buck was shot with one to and i hit perfect and only got 6 inches of penatration and the broadhead looked as if it got shot into a steel plate

Anyone else think that looks like a soft antler injury vs a regular drop tine? Looks like it would have been up like the other side. Still cool lookn either way but thats my take.

Jeremy, I saw the deer a few hours after he shot it, it looks like someone grabbed the main beam when it was in velvet and just bent it to where it grew like a drop tine.  Personally wouldnt want to see that buck any other way.   Good job C-POS!!!!!
