Report: MIKEG are you serious? I just called foleys and they said it was high and brown. Get a grip man, i tend to believe them more than you, clown. Typical BS post on this site.

Im not sure why Im even responding to this but I will.......

High and brown??
Well, it's not at flood stage, but level is about PERFECT!
Brown? Yes, but more of a tea color. About 8-10" visiblity!
That's considered perfect in my mind!

So next time you call somebody a "clown" you may want to reconsider your source of information!

But you may be like many other "anglers" and have to be able to SEE 1,000 fish in a 5' x 5' hole to catch a few!

On a day like today, with snow/rain, it is not only possible, but likely that the water at folleys was up and muddy, while the water down below is still clear.  It's like that every time the creeks come up.

The water on lower elk was low and clear all day saturday until 2:30 when we headed towards Mckean to pick a friend up. When we got to mckean Elk was up a foot with lots of leaves and about 4 inches visibilty. That was from the rain we had early saturday morning.

Upper end floods first and clears first.

You're right...And I did leave the creeks at about 10:30 and they were rising. SO maybe they are too high and muddy now!

That dude just needs to take his blood pressure medicine!

But I do think clowns are pretty funny so maybe he was complimenting me....
And I did catch one today on a "clown fly" lol

Who knows...I could make a new career out it....

The Brandy run gage didn't move up much at all until after 6:00 Am this morning, but by noon, it was dumping a lot of water, so it wouldn't surprise me to know that Elk went from ideal to seriously high in the late morning hours.  This should complete the job of spreading the fish out except for the couple hundred that won't be leaving the high tressel hole because of all the chumming going on there.

Yeah, I think I have 1 or 2 in a box somewhere that I used in NY.  Back to the original topic, if it was perfect low and muddy high then in between would you say so-so. Sorry to bust chops - in that kinda mood today (slow month).  Headed home early - gotta tie up some chum patterns......just looked back @ the reports - it got wacked.   Dave
