Not that long now !

Before you know it we will be on ice ... only 2 months ... and in 6 months i'll be boating big stripers again !!!
 
Man time flies , enjoy every minute you can :)

    There was ice on the flat roofs of our building at work last night. I'd love to ice fish for turkey day!!! Maybe have to drive 10 hours north for that.

    When hell freezes over, I'll fish there too.

    Bassin & Hook:  You might want to check this out & put it on your calendar.  A long haul but lots of prize money.

    I think they limit the entries to 1200 or so.  You have a good chance of winning some prize whether through fishing or drawing.  Eagle Ed & I have attended this a few times.

    YUP THE AUGER'S GETTING ANXIOUS TO DO SOME SCREWING!  I BROKE DOWN AND ORDERED A VEXILAR GENZ-PACK SO I PLAN ON POUNDING THE PANNIES THIS YEAR. FISH FRY SOUNDS MIGHTY GOOD!

    I pack light so all i'm waiting for is hard water :)

    I wait for at least 4"-5" of good ice, not one of those nuts out there on only a few inches !!!

    Finally got the ATV reg so when it gets real thick i can cover lots of ground now too :)

    Make sure you get insurance for the ATV. It runs about $70.00 per year . if you are on the ice with out insurance you can still get a ticket.
