There's a campground and a launch at Oneida Shores Park in Brewerton.

Thank you for helping me plan my destination to oneida lk fishing. I don't know if it is just me or whatever but, i have this suspicion that it is a crowded place in the summer! I did not know they had a casino a half hr away.. honestly not the least bit interested in gambling casino entertaiment on a fishing/camp trip. But thank you much the same.

Oneida can get very crowded in the summer after noon on the weekends, It is a magnet for gofasts, young boaters with more money than boating skills or common sence. the weekdays are pretty quiet.
I am always off the water on Saturday and Sunday by Noon...

I kinda figured that being next to syracuse and from nj.. listen i really appreciate the inside scoop..will be camping and hopefully fishing during the weekdays in a few weeks. I'm bringing my flyrod and waders etc. in case we decide it is not our thing or we get weather blitz. Can always try some streams nearby or headback early to my catskill backyard. thanks again.
