FLYROD SETUP

What size of line should I use on my flyrod?  I am using 6 wt right now. But I am thinking about switching to 5 wt...

You should be fine with 6wt fly line. Why do you want to change... and what are you primarily using it for?

I use it steelies and trout. See I have a fly spin combo. Well the 6 wt drags alittle bit through the eyes.

Try cleaning and conditioning your line.

    what Swinger said

    and...go buy some silicone spray.
You can buy Reel Magic in the fishing section  and get ripped off for $6-8 bukz for a 4oz can.
Or, go to the auto section at Wal-mart and buy a 12oz can of spray silicone for a couple bukz
(cause that's  what Reel Magic is...silicone spray)

silicone spray  will make your line and guides slicker than snot

I clean my line with soap and water then use Armor-All on my fly line.  It stays slick for a long time and I haven't noticed any degradation of my line in the two years I have been using it.  Wipe your rod down with the Armor-All too.
