    slick1,
i've used both over the years and this is what my PERSONAL PREFERENCE is.
2lb test, i use yo zuri hybrid
4lb test, i use p-line (moss green color)
    6lb& up, i use yo-zuri green flourocarbon

i used to use nothing but pline but when i started using their 8lb test for smallmouth on the new river, i noticed it would swell up and basically be uncastable...i thought it might of been just that spool but the next 2 were like that too...so i use the yo zuri now...but honestly stren and trilene are good too..they're cheap. but if you are in a bind most bait shops/stores have it instead of the other stuff..just dont keep it on your reel for a long time, it wears out quick...just my two cents..hope this helps...if it were me though, i would just buy both and try them both(on the same setup) and see which you like better..im just kind of fond of the yo zuri...but the 4lb pline is hard to beat for some reason...

I throw spinners on the connie and use the yoz 4 lb test.
It is great line.  had my best year ever last year and will never go back to bait.

no experience w/ p-line. yozuri is strong but it's diameter is large for it's lb. test rating. triline is small for it's diam. check this out on their websites. yozuri hybrid and trlilene both have good handling characteristics.

I only use P-Line. Never lost a fish to it either. It does coil a little more but has a less kinky factor. the CFX is great for low clear water.

Only 1 way to go .....McCoy......whether it's the original Mean Green or the newer stuff, it's tops. No memory, tough as nails and thats through ice and rocks, holds knots, can't say enough good about it. Poor Richard's has has it in stock i believe. Try it, you'll love it and it doesn't break the bank

I second the McCoy, the line is generally the thickness of the mono a size lower, so 6lb McCoy is about as thick as normal 4lb. mono.  Tough as heck and holds knots well.  I won't use anything else.

As the fellow Yough river angler just stated.  Can't go wrong with P-line or McCoy mean green.  All my dad and myself use.
