Trout run

 were comin up from state college pa to check things out on wedsday  and do a lil fishin and i just wanted to know how trout run is at this time we like fishin there better  than in the streams and all u c posted is info on walnut and elk so any replys would be greatly appreciated

    Everyone I've talked to that's fished the lakeshore the last few flat days said it's been good early, then slowed.

    When it's calm and clear in front of the mouth your only good shot is in the morning their very spooky and head for deep water quickly. I hooked 2 this morning in front of an eastside stream and after i left them go, the rest of fish were gone to deep water. Never fished the west side creek mouths (trout run) but i imagine there are quite a few more fish than where i fish so maybe they stay in close longer when it's as clear as it's been....
