ITS ON
OH yessss..... it has begun, reports of a small run through the lower DSR this morning, also reports of good numbers of hook ups upstream. Also heard a report of a possible record coho from a boat yesterday. I ts getting exciting!!! Hope to see some of you on the water. Tight lines boys.

Very nice. Thanks for the update. Record Coho? Awesome indeed if correct. I'd be happy to get one. This year I'll hit them in time I hope.

October 8th-15th I am heading up. And maybe the last weekend in September...and maybe a few Winter trips too.

the coho came in at 34-8!! Some question of whether it's a hybrid. That's what's taking so long, supposedly, as far as recognition.

I can tell you it's a month until I can get there. I'm wishing I could go now.

I heard about the record coho. I am getting pumped up for some salmon fishing. I still have to wait another month. Waiting sucks! There should be a nice run by then. I got a new rod that I am itching to try out.

Friday & Sat were dead then a small amount (about 50) came through dsr early sunday. My client had 1 king on for a short time but that was about it. The upper dsr had the most action altho we fished low. This morning another bunch, a little more than yesterday came through but no takers here. is it on ? well lets say there are a few here and there. It was great to be able to cast to the few fish there were as there always is this time of year.

Cool. Everyone was saying how it would be late this year. Why I never figured out? Seems about right on time to me. They're staging in 60-120 feet, a few hopping in the estuary & a pod entering the river here & there. Yep- it's Labor day.
