Catfish?

I live in norhtern Washington Co., and I am looking for some good catfishing in PA. I have had some luck in Ohio on chicken liver and blue gill, but I would like to give PA a try this year. Are there some good spots in Sewickley and Emsworth??

    If you have a boat launch at Leetsdale and head towards the dam. If going from shore walk behind the industrial park towards little sewickley creek mouth.

    WERE IS THERE A BOAT RAMP IN THE LEETSDALE/MONTOUR AREA?

    From what I hear any of the three rivers are good for cats.  Havn't really fish there for them myself but I do beleive thats where you'll find the biggest cats.

    I agree, you should be good on any of the rivers. I know there are nice cats in the lower Yough and all throughout the Mon.

    I think I am going to give the Sewickley/ Emsworth area a shot in the up coming week hopefully... i'lll report if i do any good.

    Check out the Big Bend area on the Alle River, around where there big boulders along shore. A guy that used to post on here got huge shovelheads out of there. Heavy tackle and bluegill. He got one that broke the state record but didn't report it.
