fly fishing in Penn State

I plan on heading down to Penn State next week and just wondered if I could get any advice on what creeks to hit. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Depending on how far you want to drive and how much time you have there are:  Spring Creek, Bald Eagle Creek, Spruce Creek, the Little 'J", Little Bald Eagle (running thru Tyrone), Bells run (Bellewood), Van scoyk run, Big Fill Creek, Tipton Run, Penns Creek (run) and Black Moshannon.  I tried to list them from closest to longest drive but none are over an hour from Penn State.  Just get yourself a good map of Centre, Blair and Huntingdon counties, pick a stream  and go.

Thanks! I fished Spring Creek last summer and caught a couple decent fish. I might check a few new places. Thanks for the advice.

May be alittle late but definately the little Juniata has to be on your list! Maybe alittle distance but its worth it. There's alot of hold over, often referred to wrongly as Natives, never the less very beautiful! Great scenary and even better holes. Give it a try.
