Looks like a Dave.  Maybe a Chuck.

In all honesty, I looks like some kind of brook - rainbow hybrid.  I thought maybe a Gila trout, but those are more spotty.  It has the Brook trout markings, but has that rainbow shape.

It's a Troutsky, half Trout, half Musky. Very popular in Poland.

I can see why some would think the first pic is a tiger trout because of the markings. Easyest way to tell the difference between a tiger and a brookbow is tiger trout = dark background light markings , brookbow= light background dark markings. I still have a big list of salmon/trout/char type fish I am after. Only problem is ther are so many of them.. I have landed king, coho, pink, pinock, rainbow, cuttbow, palomino, golden rainbow, brown, brook , tiger..Still after sockeye, chum, atlantic, sunapee, apachie, artic char, bull trout, dolly varden, lake trout, splake, cutt, marble trout, and then some..

SO MANY FISH SO LITTLE TIME.

I believe it may be a "splake".  The splake is a cross lake trout and brook trout.  They do cross naturally in the wild, and the New York DNR actually stock them.  I have seen them occasionally in the Niagara River.

It's a liger trout.  It's pretty much my favorite animal.  It's like a lion and a tiger mixed...bred for it's magic skills.    Gosh!

-So, what kind of trout is this?  I caught a smaller one out of the yough river last week in
West Newton.  It had a big mouth like a brookie and it fought very hard for its size.
