Power Bait

I'm seeking the knowledge of all the great fisherman on this fourm. I was wondering does power bait ever expire. I've had a jar for years 3. But never had any luck with it. I'd put a small amount on the hook, and cast out. I used the rainbow colored stuff. And not once have I had a nibble.

Thank you
Mark

i dont think it goes bad very soon. i found and used bottles from when it first came out just the other day. fish it off the bottom using a slip sinker and add a maggot to it.

I wouldn't worry about it expiring.  I think the only time it would go bad is if it dried out.  I have a Jar of power bait thats from when they first came out with it......I never caught a fish off power bait.  I don't really use it much, in my opinion other baits and lures work much better.

Not a great fisherman, but fishing is great, if you can roll it into a ball, it's still good,it's my go to bait when all else fails. (If it gets hard never add a little H2O and nuke it for a couple seconds, unless you and yours have no sense of smell. )
