EHD

So is it gonna come back an haunt us this year ? Haven't seen any affects here where i live from last year and still have a healthy deer population with many fawns starting to show up, from what i've heard (but we all know how rumors are) if Greene County experiences another outbreak, it may destroy their deer population as well as southwestern Washington County.

Hopefully, it will be wet enough not to concentrate deer near water sources this year.

We got hit hard.  About 80% mortality in our area.  While there are many pockets like ours, for the most part, Greene County still has too many deer and it would take several years of bad outbreaks to really make much of a difference overall.

It rains pretty much every day around here.  It doesn't look like conditions will be dry enough for EHD to be a problem.  Course, I aint in Greene county.
