Wed, Thurs report
Not much to report, lol. Hit the Hudson up in Glens Falls on Wed. Launched about 4am. The mosquitoes were out in full force, so much so, I had to put my Frogg Toggs on over my shorts and t-shirt. I wasn't too impressed with the fishing up there. I caught tons of smallies, but they were all between 10-12".
Wound up bottoming out my boat. The water went from 25' to 6 inches so quick, I didn't have time to slow down or turn. Minimal damage luckily. Little nick on a prop blade and the skag.
Thurs, hit the Mohawk between 6-7. One walleye trolling, about 18". And a bunch of very fat rock bass, and a few smallies thrown in.
Closing on a new house next week, so I doubt there will be time to fish much during the next month or so. Looking forward to hitting the Black River in August and Sept. Maybe another Ontario trip. Anyone interested?
