Need Directions

Hey guys, I wanted to put in West of Walnut. I can put in almost anyplace 16' alum here. Is there anyplace to put in West of Walnut that has a dock and a sea wall? Staying in PA of course. If so, how do I get there comming North bound off I-79?

    Finster, Elk Creek has a ramp and small parking area and could handle a 16' boat. But there is no protective wall like at North East "Safe Harbor". You do have to hit the hole so to speak when you are coming back in. As long as the wave situation is good no problem. As far as directions coming from I-79, go west on I-90 to the Fairview exit. Take 98 N through Fairview to rte 5 Avonia. Go west approx 6 miles to the Elk Creek Pa Fish Commission access. There's a small sign on the right side. And on your way home be sure to stop at the Avonia Tavern for a good meal.      Lou

    Is there a way to launch a small boat off the creek just west of crooked?  I know there is a small park there but i can't remember if there was a way to launch.
