sorry TJ, haven't visited for a spell.
How familiar are you with the upper river? are you even interested in the upper river?? There is the tailwaters (where I caught these walleyes) which is pretty much off limits to boats, then several shallow miles of river and the town of warren.
the warren area of the river is serviced between two boat lunches- starbrick and buckaloons. buckaloons is definitely the better launch with a nice launch, and good parking. It also costs some money. Starbrick is free but the launch is pretty shallow. I rarely see anyone launch anything but a canoe out of there. Below that, you'll have to talk to other people. there is probably 2-3 areas from warren to tionesta.
There's quite a few people that fish along the town of warren from a boat of that size within the warren area. keep in mind that in low water you'll find it difficult to make motor all the way through. In the summer even the canoes can get hung up in the riffles. Walleye fishin' out in this river is pretty competitive stuff with the DAV tournaments in all; I doubt you'll get too many more details where people fish along the river.
Being a shore fishermen, I have no secrets to tell to those lucky blokes that can afford a nice boat

oops forgot; bait.
good shop called "Alleghany bait and tackle" - Rt 6. Cross the pennsylvania street bridge at the right, you'll see a refinery on your left. on the right, near the gates where the trucks go through is the shop.
I'd tell you to turn right onto the bridge or turn left- but I don't know which way your coming in.
nice guy. reasonable prices. best selection In town (actually only guy in town, 'cept for wally world).
