Lake Canadohta

We are going to Big Bear Campground at Lake Canadohta the 2nd week in July. Can anyone please give me some information about the fishing there? Specifically bass/walleye/pike/perch. Where are the hot spots, times, bait etc. Thanx for the help.

This lake has a few fish, some large musky and a few largmouth, the walleye are 10 small fish to 1 keeper  at best

I would make a trip to Erie and even without a boat you will get many more fish off the piers in erie than the dead sea as most fisherman call canadohta,

There is a few local people who get crappies (6-9 inches) if they actually measure them. They occasionally get a 10-12 inch but rare.  That is the ones  you will hear about in the area.bait shops

This lake was wonderful for a while when they put in the fish from tamarack but they did not reproduce  and were caught fast as the many pontoonn boats and locals on this tiny lake could find them.
Almost no structure ,no rocks, no wood no gravel bars the fish are quite vulnerable. There are weeds and the lake is deep for its size and cold water.
There are millions of stunted blue gill and perch in the lake, local kids have fun with them.
