Clairon river

Just wondering what kind of fish inhabit the Clairon near cooks forest.  Never did much fishing there, but have caught trout and smallies while canoeing.  Just wondering what else is in there?

I usually stay above Cook Forest .. But that's what I am told is usually caught there..

further down, near Piney Dam, I am told of frequent Walleyes and I have even caught some of those where I fish too..

lots of Rock Bass and BIG Suckers too if you are taking young ones...

Conditions yesterday were NOT too bad...  water is high and fast but not muddy... here's my board logo I made from a photo taken yesterday.....

during the warm season, blondes, redheads and brunette mermaids. they'll tease you so you got to throw them the right bait to get a hook up. when you get tired of one, throw her back and catch another one!!!
oh, i heard there's crappie looking ones also!

Caught pleaty of them up there!  I'd say the canoe rental area is the hotspot dt!  Remeber one brunette in a purple bikini, never forget that one.  Had to throw her back though!
