Cool Spring Creek

If anyone's been fishing the DHALO area recently, I'm curious as to what the fishing's been like. Apparently it was restocked last Thursday.

    Caught a few nice browns and a sucker before before heading to and ending the day at Neshannock's DHALO area. Caught a few there and missed or had atleast eight or nine break off. I need to work on detecting strikes apparently. 

    Also fought with a really nice rainbow at Neshannock for close to five minutes before it got off the hook. I couldn't play it out of a couple stronger riffles/currents, but a nice fish either way.

    The ticket at Cool Spring was a white sucker spawn/hares ear dropper and at Neshannock a pink glo bug/brassie dropper was pounding them for me. Also many strikes on various woolly buggers sitting idle in the current -- lots of rising fish today.
