Any crappie action yet? Was pretty spotty last year. I have been doing well for crappie & bull gills at Crooked Creek, but do like to get up to yellow creek a few times in the spring also.  sam

I took my boat all over the lake about a week ago and not much was happening.  Caught a few little pike while crappie fishing.  No crappies though.  We'll have to keep each other updated.  There are alot of big crappie in there, it should start heating up right about now.

Thinking of going to Yellow Creek tomorrow(Sat.) Anyone know if it's too high? Is it fishable when it does go up? I've only been there once, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

indiana by I.U.P. I'm just outside West Newton, and the Yough takes 3 days after the last drop falls to fish. So I'm wondering if it's worth the drive to fish out that way. Any tips?

I haven't been there but I was past it on sunday along 954 and it was pretty crowded there. The water looked nice to me but that was before all this rain I think that creek comes up pretty quick.

Watch out for the rattle snakes, and I heard if you go way upstream form that bridge on 954 that you come to some prvt property,,,from what I hear its very good "around" there.
