Laker Reports

Any Laker reports? I'll be heading up to NorthEast this weekend if anyone wants to hook up.

i hear some have picked up a few lakers the past couple of weeks, ive been meaning to get out myself and was also thinking of going out this weekend , weather pending . i run a small boat but you dont have to go out as far to find deep water as you do on the west side.
Be nice to test out walleye gear and a big laker will give me a good idea if im ready. maybe ill see ya at the ramp goose.

blue an green in my box borther. lol its all about presentation.  the best part is since your using spoons, an eye season is a blink away, u never know u just might get a 10lb laker. or who knows even a king lol. im going to onterio for brownies. im a lil late though. but i can still get a few. usually eyes dont get to north east till end of may but u might have a few trickling in now u just never know.  north east is the place to go now cuz  you only have to go out only a few miles not a million like you would on the west side. nor fight all that traffic. gas is 4.09 an rising at the marina so fill her up at the pump in town.  good luck goose

Thanks for the info king. Looks like it will be a wash out Saturday. We'll see what Sunday holds.
4.09 is a little rough on gas, I'll take 3.59 here at home.
I'm gonna try norheast this year for eyes. The last few years I've worked the trenches out of walnut, it's about time to try something different.
    Good luck with the browns.
Do you use dipsies, flatline or downriggers?

it takes a litle longer for the eyes but if ur in no hurry then ur ok. save ur money an choose ur days if you have to travel long distance. an if you got a large boat spend the night on the water.  it takes sum getting used to but its cool.
