Me & Mod hit the Hudson

Even though the fishing was slooooowwww i had a great time with Scotia Hunter today on his very nice Tracker boat targeting Stripers. Managed 1 shorty, but no complaints here (1st of the season for me).

Our mod is a good dude & we'll do it again buddy !!

We did manage a bunch of Shad on the Herring rigs, they were a blast.

Herring were spotty all day.

Alright thats a good eating fish right there!  I'm psyched man.  How many sinkers did ya's lose?  I left about 2 lbs in there at the dam.

    Jeff:

Glad to see you and Brian had some fun on the Hudson.  Not surprised that the shad were more plentiful than the herring, as that's what I probably lost the day you and I were out.
Herring should be more plentiful over the next week with larger stripers to follow.
