Decent Day at Smithton

Fished just above the brewery.  Rain came then left.  Some nice Browns on minnows and Little Cleos ( green/silver)  Good day.  Bou8ght the new 2007 pin.

    How high was the river?  I cant believe you were able to get ot the main hole there.  It is almost on the other side by the island.  If you did get out there let me know and I am gonna be there tomorrow.  ps best hole on the river in my opinion.  But most guys like the Eureka hole all I get there is snags.

    Fished from the bank  Used noodle rods with cleo spoons and some weight.  For the most part they hit pretty close to shore.  The3 river was up.  Frist time fishing at Smithton.  Wher abouts is the hole?

    And where is the brewery?  Do you take the exit for Smithton truckstop off I-70?

    The brewery is right in the town of Smithton, which is a very small town.  If you can find the town, you'll find the brewery.  I take 51, but would imagine if there is an exit on 70 that is for Smithton, that road would take you there.

    Take smithton exit.  Make left right off exit.  Goto stop sign make another left.  Go down the hill to the next stop sign.  Make right turn.  Go through the next to stop signs and brewery will be on the left.
