Still some fish left..

Caught this 26" rainbow in Spring Creek this morning in the rain. He is already at the taxidermy man. My biggest inland rainbow...

Spring Creek in Warren county. A small stream that runs into the west branch of Brokenstraw. Creek was only 8-10 feet wide. What a rush it was. I was chasing stockies and this fish was hiding in a brush pile and came out and slammed a spinner..I know for you steelheaders he's not a giant but for an inland worm dunker like me it is a wall hanger...

Great fish. Do not worry if some think why would you mount a stocked fish. Personal I care less what others think and would rather catch a 20in plus stocked trout then a Steelie any day mainly because they are way more rare then a Steelie. I have read that Pa has a 30% return on the Steelhead smolts so we would be looking at the average fish around 24-26in and a run of 300,000 fish a year running. I hardly think there are that many 18in trout stocked each year let alone many as big as you landed. Anyways a trophey fish is not always about its size but more about the size of stream it came from and the circumstances(sp) behind the catch. I have Pa angler awards for brookie's, palomino, brown,s, steelhead but have yet to get one for a Pa rainbow except did hit a few big enough in pay to play areas but that does not count. So with that said you did something I have yet to acomplish in Pa so a big congrads to you on your jumbo Pa rainbow.

SO MANY FISH SO LITTLE TIME.
WHY ARE ALL THE PLACES I HAVE YET 2 FISH SO FAR AWAY?
