Sunset on Lake Erie

I was up at Presque Isle this evening and captured some photos of the sunset.  It was outstanding.  Looks like tomorrow will be a good one.  Good luck to eveyone out fishing tomorrow.  Be careful on the water.

    Outstanding pic Bug.  Can't wait to see em' with some upper 70 degree weather this summer on PI.

    Nice picture bug. I saw a beautiful sunrise Friday morning on Justus Lake. The loons were calling, the turkeys were talking, the ducks and geese were carrying on, the pair of Ospreys came out to fish and I caught a trout all as the sun was breaking the horizon. Wished I'd of had an Old Milwaukee cause it just don't get any better than that.
         There's something about the call of the loons just love that sound. Reminds me of the Canadian shield lakes. Where it seems they always are looning ? lol. Bug, is there a proper name for the call of the loon?

    bug, nice pic. here in montana the sunsets arent quite as dramatic. your pic is one of the things that makes me homesick.                                    m.f.

    Neat Pic D.T.  Is that lake Erie?  Mikastorm that was not taken with the new camera, but my old CoolPix.  Not bad for an inexpensive point and shoot camera...  I hope to get out with the new one soon.  I saw some loons out there last night.  I would love a shot or two of them before they move on.  Sorry about making you homesick Montana... I have never been out your way, so I can only imagine what it must be like.  I am sure it is pretty special in its own way.

    Yes it is bug , about 4 miles north of lighthouse
