Those are just amazing!  If the eyes are as amazed by these as me...

One thing I've always wondered: People always play with the blades when making harnesses.  Since youve got these amazing blades CB have you ever played with different beads?  Bigger or wierd shapes or that kind of thing.  I see all kinds of interesting beads when I buy them at craft stores.  Not sure if something that small would make much difference.  I put some sweet red flare looking ones in the harnesses I made this winter. Really looks like a flared gill when you put it on there.  Ever tried anything like that?

    Anyway, amazing blades!

Beads are a spacer....We just run size 6mm beads to match the color scheme and that seems to work fairly well....I take my worm harnesses very serious over here...as you can tell...lol

They look pretty cool....I'm supposed to be getting some in soon....I may even be interested in some of these CB.

I have experimented with bigger blades and recommend not doing it unless you run coated wire.  I use mono and the bigger blades will wear through the line over time.  I have even tried 1 smaller 1 bigger tandem.  You still need to be careful with the bigger blades...In the end, I see no real advantage so I just use the size 4s they work awesome and catch fish.

i myself can testify these things work and are very very unique in the water...Nice thing is unlike your standard taped blades, they resist tarnishing since they are laquer finished.

    Chipmunk,

To answer your above questions, I am always playing with colors and harnesses trying to find something new, something different.  Truth be told any harness can really be productive if put at the right depth and trolled at the right speed.  However, a bait can excel if you get the depth, speed, color, and size correct.

As far as size is concerned.  I have used bigger blades, but i havent strayed to far away from the number 4 size willow leafs.  They are a perfect blade for both tandem and single blade harnesses for Lake Erie.

The blades above are great not because of the color.  The serrated edge on the willows give them a very unique spin in the water.  The laquer finish allows the colors to be reflected instead of a flat color tape, or holographic tape.  They resist tarnishing and the paint holds up alot longer than a michigan stinger spoon.

Currently i am getting about 10colors all of which i have used and been very productive with.  Other colors do work, and other blades do work and I have been very productive with taped blades in previous years but these just kinda outshine the competition...

The best of the painted blades i have used so far are the watermellons, lime anti-freeze, boy/girl in copper, purple demon, and the fire tiger.

New for this year i have the green goby in both copper and silver, and the Red Death (shown above) gold/red...I havent used goby yet, but the gold and red has been a standard for me on taped blades for 3 seasons now.  Also Capt. Dan Kelley of Buckets Charters and I are working on another color or 2 as well...

...like they always say a lure catches the angler long before it catches the fish...

Nice blades...but compaired to regular willows...those will catch as many fisherman as walleyes ,maybe more . Erie "eyes aren't that hard. Location + Depth + Speed. Then tinker with your colors & blades.

Very true...however, as stated above the quality of the blades are superior to anything on the market today.  Resisting tarnishing, holding color, and a unique design are enough to have me, and many others, sold on this product...Not to mention its MADE IN USA
