in the spring in summer i spend my nights bow fishing. i went out and baught a 20 some dollar bow fishing kit at gander and stuck it on an old fred bear. i personaly like it at night the carp are less spooky then. Me and a buddy would take turns holding the flash light ( i perfer L.E.D  lightsthey cut throu the water better).  Other then that i take the bow on the boat and putt around with the trolling motor until i see a carp, in the day time you gota be fast or they will see you. I got some pretty nice snapping turtles and bluegills.

Spend the extra money and buy a ams retriver reel.  They have the white tube that holds your line and is just like a fishing reel.  You can get them around $70.  Buy a good arrow and spool it up right.  A few of my buddies and I do a lot of it in the spring.  We shot a little over 100 combined last year.  Aim lower than you think and have fun!

I eat them.  No im j/k, I use some for fertilizer, give some to the zoo, use a few to get the fish oil out for trapping bait.

They feed them to some animals.
