I quit....I'm back

Alright, get your licks in now. I was ****ed about the way the administration treated Griz, but I have been lurking around and have seen the much needed improvements. So Bust my balz if you want , but im back...I still dont agree with the way that stuff went down, but Im behind the new site and Salmo. Lets get the ****fest over now cause I dont want to hear it later. That being said........Its good to be back.

    Welcome Back - I don't blame you for going away.  I thought about it myself.  But then I tought - what would Griz do?  Okay yes he had the heated discussion... but he would also be the first to say... if someone asks for help -- help them.  Which is what I do on this board (new or old style). 
     
    I have made it my goal - for the past several years, to stay away from controversy and focus on helping those anglers who just can't get the hook-up but are seriously trying or want to try.  I, as well as many other on this board, are more than willing to give our ten, twenty, thirty or more years of experience on this river to newcomers or those willing to try a new style of fishing, say C&D to Swing, or Spey or Float...
     
    I think you are that type of person from reading your previous posts, so yes we are all sad, disappointed, or angry that the discussion (very heated) went on for that long... but I think you are here to learn and teach... and that is what Griz would want.
     
    I also believe (don't know for a fact) that Griz is out there lurking... reading and checking... He will (I Hope) comeback one day... it won't be soon, but he will come back!... At the same time - he knows who his friends are and we all value his friendship and Knowledge.

    Glad you're back MRD. We were all upset. I ranted some too.
    This is a Great Board because many here are not afraid to speak the truth, and speak it well.
    It is a great soarce for people to learn from. I did/am, and am greatful to all.
    I can only hope alot of the other faces make the transfer to the new board as you did.
    The band needs to play on!

    I agree with MattyD.  Griz would want us all to just get along.  That being said let's get back to talking about girls....I mean fishing.

    Haven't hit the stripers yet - but had a field day a week ago playing with Shad... Once I figured out the technique... I was banging fish left and right... Oh that was fun!
