Different Eyes

My kid was changing out the strings on his guitar and I noticed these little brass rings on the end of the strings.  Being the plugger that I am I tried to use the little ring for eyes for a clouser type fly.  I think I should have used white thread and built a little more of a head on it but other than that, it looks pretty cool.  I just thought I would share the pic of it with you guys.

    As many times as i've changed the strings on my guitars, i've never thought to use the ends as eyes. Looks pretty good.
     
    I've used some strings that had different colored ends on them like, red, and green. I'll have to clip them off and use them for tying next time.
