NASCAR Picks of the Week - 2024 - Indy, Brickyard 400

     Gentlemen,
 
     This week NASCAR goes to Indy for the Brickyard 400!
     This is a very fast and very flat course.  Tire wear will be immense.  So pit stops will decide the race.
     400 miles is an unusual distance, so fuel mileage will come into play.
     And cars with simple speed seem to do best.
     Watch for a "Big One" especially right after a re-start.
     There are only 5 races left before the playoffs start so some drivers may be quite aggressive.

    Gentlemen,
     
        THAT was a very unusual finish to
    the race.  
         Some questions arise.  Was the 14 able to move? What was the communication between him and his crew?  Was he told to stop on the racing surface?  Should the caution have been thrown right after the leaders crossed the start / finish line. 
     
         We had 1 person pick the actual winner of the race.  That was Hendey Lathe, picking:  Kyle Larson.
          We had 2 people pick the best Long Shot.  They were:  Me and Bloody Hand, picking:  Bubba Wallace.
          We had everybody but 1 of us pick the actual 1st Out. BJ Mcleod,
