LINESVILLE — Authorities are searching for two men who are missing and presumed in the water of Pymatuning. The men failed to appear at work Tuesday morning and were last seen on the lake Monday evening at about sundown.
At 8 a.m. Tuesday morning their vehicle was spotted with an empty boat trailer in the parking lot at the Linesville Beach Launch. Their boats was found capsized east of Harris Island in 8 to 12 feet of water.
Underwater visibility was poor — about six inches or less — and the water temperature was in the mid- to high 30s. A state police helicopter and scuba teams from across the region were assisting in the search.                          http://www.meadvilletribune.com/local/local_story_107232413.html

No actual storm that I'm aware of but very high winds but I thought that was mainly during the daytime. The article indicates they may have been ok and with the boat yet at dark Monday night as a Ranger noticed the boat then upright and lit up.

Just a note of caution to boaters using Pymatuning on April 21 and 22nd.

A fairly large recovery operation is scheduled to take place April 21 and 22nd (if needed). Persons not involved in this operation should be aware the Northern end of Pymatuning will have alot of search and diver boats. It is highly recommended that anglers aviod areas where searchers are working.

We were at Linesville on Saturday 4/21 and witnessed the two boaters being brought to the boat livery. Our thoughts and prayers go out to their families. I'm surprised nothing has been posted here till now or that nothing was in the Pittsburgh papers.

Thanks malkol.  For their families sake, I am just glad to hear that they were found. I don't want to sound calus, I feel as bad as anyone that these guys died having fun, but...  I was planning on fishing in that general area this weekend and dredging up a body was just behind the boat sinking and motor conking out on my list of crap to ruin the day.  It's great to see that it is big news when someone goes missing but not news at all when they are found.
