Fly to tippet - is the duncan loop the best?

What is the best knot for tying the fly to the tippet. In the past I used only the improved clinch knot, but I am now reading that the best knot to use is a loop to prevent drag.

Is the Duncan loop better than the rest?

If this is for any fly other than a streamer than i never seen a reason to tie anything other than a clinch. For streamers I'll use a loop style knot to have the streamer react less by the tippet.

Line control is more an issue than knots w/ drag free drift. It doesn't make a difference what knot you use if its being dragged by the line.

I use a palomar knot for almost everything but a streamer, Its way stronger than the cinch.  Most fish Iv'e lost came from my laziness to tie a palomar and going with a cinch.  I have complete confidence in the Palomar knot, easy to tie and strong as heck.
