When to Start

Does anyone know the time (general) when carp come into shore?
I don't see any in my usual spot.

Thanks

I saw a man out at Jacobs Creek Park last week and he was catching a few on his own prepared dough bait. He was fishing in about 5 feet of water.

Talked to the same man mentioned above out at Jacobs Creek Park and so far this year he's landed 25 carp out there, the biggest only being 12 pound. He landed two while I was there.

I was at Raystown this past weekend & saw dozens close to shore.
They would go under when they noticed people but would come back
to the surface after standing there a few minutes.

Yesterday saw a few in near shore at the county park. Spooky even with the cloudy water from the rain, them stiring the bottom up feeding and the ripples from the wind. Saw none tonight with the higher wind.
