Shore fishing Presque ISLE

Fished various location around Presque Isle with the usual plastic worms, wacky worms, and different top water and minnow lures. Not too productive, but still a lot of fun. Last place I fished had a sign warning of toxic algae. The sign had a warning about letting your dog in the water. Seems strange I was fishing; off shore people were water skiing, all in water that is unsafe for dogs?  
 
I'll come back in the fall for another round, still love fishing Erie.

    The weather this year has made it easy to produce algae, but again, this is typical every year. I have not heard much about the beaches though. 
     
    I like dogs more than people, so let them ski all they want, just keep the dogs safe. I keep my lab away from PIB.....too much e-coli....bacteria...algae and ticks.
