Tim I don't think you will be disappointed just check the schedule as this Corona thing has restaurants changing when they are open.

Roy good to see you on the board and hear you're getting out with your pontoon.   Sucks about the motor acting up.  I hope it's nothing serious.  Good times and tight lines.

I hope folks kept their eye to the sky, cause it's a blowin and a poring here in my neighborhood.  Rain looks to be letting up now (2:07ish) and followed by blue sky and my TV reception is back.  Gosh, I'm so happy, Dish Network never loses it's signal every time it rains.

Update on my camping trip. Weather was good until about 11:00 Am Sat. Rained for about 4-5 hours then on and off for a while. Fishing was slow. nothing with artificials. Used night crawlers and caught 3 small perch and 2 bluegill. Guess it is to shallow around campground for fake bait to work. Never did make it down to below the dam. And never went tup to Andover to try the restaurant BTDT told me about. Maybe next year.

That sucks about the fishing Tim. Stupid fish anyways who needs em anyhow??

Did you just fish the campground area?

Speaking of, was the campground busy?

Gotcha. I was hoping you could make it to the Jamestown Boat Marina and the beach area or the spillway. Still I hope ya had a good time during your stay.

Might be trying the campground myself come next year.

Good times and tight lines.🎣

Not much fishing for me this summer, but a guy at work showed me a pic of a 40# cat some guy pulled out of pymy recently. Holy crap! I gotta say, I catch my fair share of cats out there and even some large ones once and a while, but if I would have hooked into that thing I probably would have thought I snagged a stump and snapped the line off. Congrats to the lucky fisherman!

CS if I'd see something like that surface beside my [no longer] boat, I'd have thrown my fishing rod overboard, and I'd still be having nightmares.

Mercy sales 40 lb, heck yes, congrats to the angler landing that fish.🎣

It was a Flathead. A 60 lber. was caught in the river August 1st. Guy let it go after awhile when he couldn't locate a certified scale. His digital read just over 60 lbs.

This is the one from Pymy.   Lots & lots over 40 lbs. come from the Allegheny every yr. Records for Cats released also. Who really wants to kill or drag a old Cat just for a record?

Did the state stock flat heads in the lake or was that put in illegally?

Hopefully that one was eaten. Not sure how those big old ones eat?

A 40# channel would be cool to see.
