Steelhead in tribs

Checked most of the tribs from 20 mile to Crooked and there are not many fish.  Trout run is all but empty of adults but tons of smolts ready to head out with the next rain.

Good luck

The big run happened this past fall. The fish are over here in Ohio. Big fish and in good numbers. The Grand and Conny have been on fire. Most rivers have great access too.

Nothing like Manistee steelhead on an Ohio Lake Erie Tributary in the early spring swinging an emerald shiner or egg pattern.
The ally is fishing good as spring weather arrives.
Conny, is fishing well.  Best bets are on the Rocky and Vermilion Rivers this week as the rivers drop down.

Water is dropping. As long as there is at least 6" visablity fishing should be good on any Lake Erie Trib. Look for the slack water. There will be fish moving.
Just some Excuses for keeping people off the water.

LOL......not the best day, but we did okay in the Bay. Lotta lil guys mixed in. Never seen a thick fog last all day long...never did see the sky! Quit at 4pm.and the fog was thicker than 8am.....crazy. On off bite all day, no real hot spot. Had a good time, about 10 degrees warmer would have warmed my old bones better.
