Thanks guys. Went back to the same property this morning to hang a gun stand for my dad and look for the knife we forgot friday lol. Surprised to see a bald eagle in a tree above what was left of the gut pile. Not sure if he was fixing on the pile or one of the critters looking for a free meal. Didnt find the knife.

Way to go Moses! My dad has the same problem with knives in the woods. Think he's just trying to keep Buck knives in business lol.

Moses, read the the "Lead Alert" forum I just posted. PGC warns of lead poisoning to Eagles from eating gut piles of deer killed with lead ammo.
