Spot burning on the report page

I'm so sick of people using specific locations. Just read the last report and you will realize why a traffic jam on 79 is taking place rn. Guys please don't name specific streams

Not just talking about the nut... all creeks will be affected if people keep mentioning the names. Is it really to hard just to put "Erie tribs"

That report ain't gonna cause a traffic jam on 79 because
    (a) it's mid October and it's time to fish for steelhead
    (b) it rained this week and everybody knows that for each raindrop that falls, one steelhead magically appears in the cricks
    (c) anybody that knows anything about steelhead will know that there are fish in Walnut and at the mouths of most cricks.

Public pages on the book of faces, including some bait shops, have a much further reach than fishmupheredawtcom and legitimately burn spots on a regular basis.  This reports page is old news.  The report you're referencing may draw a few more anglers to the new Walnut Arena or the mouth of the other stream, but that's good for folks like most of us on here that know there's much better water to fish at this time of year anywho.

    I love it!
Yinz can have the projects at walnut...its like 500 yards from the lake to the falls above the chutes.  Hardly any feesh get above there.  Have at it, report away!  Public access point, tons of parking.  Yes, go there!

Why is that, I used to do pretty good on upper Walnut.  The last few times I tried there were two or three fish up there.  Is there a new obstacle that wasn't there 15 years ago?

The falls coupled with low flows has kept most fish from getting up past it the last few years. This is one of the barriers that the PFBC is going to modify to increase fish passage. Hopefully it will help. Alot of public access up there if the fish can make it through.

I read their recent report on that.  I'd imagine that with the falls being on private property and the DEP red tape involved that it will be quite awhile before something actually happens, unless it's the installation of some type of fish passage device.

Sure would be nice though.  There's some really nice water on upper 'Nut that is open to fishing that I only fished for a couple seasons before fish quit making it up that far in good numbers.

Lets see. It is October. There are only so many streams that one can fish. When it rains, fish come in. Everyone knows it. Walnut is the most popular stream. Lets not share any of those secrets cause it might get too crowded..............
