With the kicker down I would say moraine or Pymy

Better too far back, than too far forward.

The fish itself and the background in the fourth picture looks like Pymatuning, hard to tell but looks north of causeway towards Tuttle. Doesn't really look like Pymatuning in the third one, though. Maybe more on the Jamestown side, but I don't know...

I'd say Pymy, south end, looks kind of like the view off the Stocker Island area.

Well MuskyMastr, you were right it was caught at one of the Kawarthas.  And its not Pigeon Lake.  The fish was 52" and my wife, then my girlfriend, Boga gripped the fish!  Thats when I realized I had to marry this girl!  It was released soon there after.

NO it is an atlantic salmon male, a close relative of the brown trout there are still some very and i mean VERY small runs in northern new england and newfoundland labrador etc,i caught 1 in three days fishing with a few follows see previous pic, the huge brute my buddy is holding is 41 in long and well over 30 lbs a rarity for sure.but they do exist i grwe up fishing these particular salmon rivers and they are tough to fish and catch but i love em.

I have become comfortably numb

Actually it just didn't look heavy enough to be an arthur or pymy fish, even though you told us it was canadian.  Not saying that it is not an awesome fish...

Musky, I was not assuming anything, its all cool...I just figured you may have recognized my picture and knew that I fish the Kawarthas often thats all.  That particular fish weighed 31 lbs. on the Boga.  I'd actually say it was a little heavier than your average Kawartha ski.  Some of the fish I've caught up there, over the years were absolute snakes!  Heres a few more pics below....all PA fish...The last photo is of a repeat client of mine....we actually became best friends!
