Crossbow gobbler

Sometimes, these birds seem so unkillable. Other times, everything just falls into place. Taken this morning at 6:20. Called 3 longbeards in and shot the strutter of the bunch. Been really slow this year. No birds talking at all. This morning was the most gobbling I have heard so far.

Horton Storm RDX. Black Eagle Executioners, TenPoint Omni-Nock lighted nock, 3 blade Swhacker, Zeiss XB75.
9 5/8 beard, 7/8 spurs.

    Very nice DPMS, congratulations.

Commit to it. It is hard when you know the shotgun is so much easier but you just have to make the decision and do it.
